One day I looked at my fabric collection and decided that I had too much red fabric. So I thought I’d use up red scraps to make a background for a quilt. That’s how this quilt was born. It is a simple pieced background with white flowers appliquéd on top. You may choose to appliqué by hand or machine, and you may want to use another color for your background. If you’re like me, you may find you still have many reds when you finish, but you’ll also have a lovely quilt.
